Go home little bird go home.
Your place is now up in the sky
with your loved ones that await you.
Go home and release all your cries.
Your pain went beyond your wings.
You’ll never recognize the damage that’s been done.
I’ve been told you were difficult even when you were young.
All I’ve known is a broken bird that sheds its hurt all around.
Now it’s time for you to rest and let go because a new journey has sprung.

Go home little bird go home.
Be with your loved ones now.
No more sorrow or pain to be shed.
No more hurt or neglect to be spread.
Go home little bird go home.
We release you up into the heavens.
Our lives once circled around you.
Our time is now to let go of all your sorrows
to let go of the abandoned tomorrows.
It will not be easy.
But our wings are strong.
We have mastered and flown through many dark clouds.
We can now find a better path to navigate through to turn our frowns upside down.
So now it’s not time to worry.
Go be with your loved ones and I hope in a hurry.
Your vessel is done.
We will love you so, because there will not be another.
We only have one mother.
Go home little bird go home.
